Maceio and Museum

    While in Maceió, Jones and I visited the Museu Theo Brandão on Wednesday, as well as an Exhibition Center with the flags of the Brazilian states.
    The museum has many religious artifacts such as the Ex Votos which are wooden carvings of body parts given to the Saints in favor of the same body part of an ill person. There were also clothes from historical figures and Carnival, the great festival of lasciviousness that takes place every February.
